My 2 year old friend teaches me a lot about friendship.

Her eyes light up when she sees me. She gives me a heartfelt hug. She shows me her newest dance moves, shares with me her YouTube Elmo videos.

She talks to me in her unique dialect of baby-talk and English, telling me her stories and secrets, I’m sure. She is unafraid in asking me for her toy store favorites, and is understanding when I ask her to pick only one. She has a giddy laugh when she sees my birthday gift to her is her favorite Minnie Mouse; on the phone she tells me she’s playing with it [with me only understanding the word “mouse”; her parents translate the rest].

I love her a lot, she loves me too, and she’s not shy in telling me so. She teaches me a lot about living life to the fullest; and I am blessed to have her in my life as my Teacher! :-)
